Ustream Class! Mini Album Series begins Tonight!!!

My first in a series of  classes over the next several weeks. I'll be sharing with you new ways to transform envelopes, and envelope styles of various sizes into wonderful, spacious, and useable mini albums. I will also be sharing various techniques and styles I use in the process of putting together my mini albums. The class is at 6:00 pm EST tonight. Times will vary from week to week. I will have them posted ahead of time on my ustream channel.
I will be working with 6x6 decorative papers tonight. So grab all of your goodies and meet me there tonight!
The video below is the project we will be working on tonight :0)

  2. Hi Julie! Just want to say I am SO-ooo VERY inspired by your work!.. I am only a rookie right now, just getting her feet wet in the art of scrapbooking; but so far, I'm loving every minute of it! Circumstances as they are, I can only afford a few materials at a time, and I have to wait for the materials with a great deal of patience, as I have to order them online, then wait for them to arrive here. Funny how I'm not too crazy for the mailman with all the bills, but I just LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that UPS man with all my scrapbooking supplies!!!.. Anyways, I'm a bit of a slow worker, so it all works out o.k... I am amazed to hear people say they can get a mini album done in TWO NIGHTS! Even with a kit all put together for me, I'm not sure if I could ever do that! Right now, I am just starting a paper bag mini for myself, AND I'm throwing some very simple TP roll mini album kits together for friends for Valentines Day! I look forward to visiting with you again here on your blog, and at either YouTube or Ustream. Have a great weekend! ~tina

“Graphic 45 Design Team 2012 Audition"

This sweet li'l 4x4 mini album is made using Graphic 45's "Once Upon A Spring Time" paper line. Find more detail on this project Here.

This is a special 4x4 mini album I made to sell. Special because I designed a holder for it to sit in with velvet jingle bells for the feet! You will find more about this project HERE.

This is my very first completed Family Recipe Album! The papers are by "Webster's Pages". Although it was a bit of a challenge, I created this stand for it to sit in on my kitchen desk top. I just luv the mason jar tag I created especially for this mini. You will find more details on this project here.

I created the adorable Christmas album below as a gift for my sister. I was so pleased how it turned out for her. I  used Basic Grey's Jovial paper line and stickers.  It contains some of my own hand drawn designs in it such as the snowman with the red top hat on and the snowman peeking from behind the santa pocket with felt accents on his…

Finally!!

I have for so very long, a few years now, wanted to make a doll house album. I have talked about it, drawn out ideas and designs for it, and mulled over it for quite some time. The only other project that took me this long to pull together was my first Recipe Album!! Yesterday, I decided on a design and today a theme! Two elements one absolutely must possess in order to create any thing at all! I was thinking I should like to have my book designed so that I can have interactive paper dolls in it. I thought that I would design them as well, but as I glanced through an old 2009 desk calendar by Mary Engelbreit, I decided I would try to use the many paper dolls I have in the magazines I have collected of hers over the years instead. I think I have found a suitable paper line as a base to start. So! Onward and upward I go in true Mary Engelbreit fashion!!
Wish me luck!
